De Ridder? Bloody hell, he was one of the first wingers you got access to when playing Pro Evo Champions Road mode on the Wii. He was at Wigan but never got a game.

We don't need another Pierre Essers....who basically shagged more local chicks than games played.

Why are we always fighting with Heart to sign players. Surely we should aim better than that

Had an ok career but I can only understand this possible signing if gve is putting much of our dough on a top centreback, which I personally could agree with as a good centreback is needed more

Indeed. Shat all over FIFA on the Wii, controls were magnificent. Then I got a 360 to play Pro Clubs and the Wii has since been used to play MH3 and Xenoblade.

I can admit to playing the absolute shiz out of all the PES versions on the Wii minus the latest one. It was genius.
I played PES 2013 on PC recently and while the graphics and extra game modes were a novelty at first, I ended up just getting too frustrated with the controls being so inferior to what I was playing on my peasant Wii years back.

PS Is Xenoblade worth getting? I was thinking about buying it to kill some time post-exams.

Yes, if you like Japanese RPG style games. It's the closest you can get toa Final Fantasy game on the Wii.

Will also add it's 60+ hours to complete and is one of the best games in recent years.

Isn't it from the same source that linked us to the Iraqi winger? What happened with that?

That said, Nathan Burns would be a super signing, a shame we didn't get him a season or two ago when we were after him.

We've been after him too many times to count!

    Although check this out:

    --------------Biraz----------------
    Brillante---Chapman--CB----Goodwin
    -------Zadkovich----Caravella------
    --------------Brown---------------
    ---Taggart-----Heskey-----Burns---

BK, Neville, Regan, Cooper, Hoole, Gibbs, Virgilli, Bridges, Oxborrow

If Brown can hit GCU form, and our centre back is Ljubo-esque (aka a leader, brings the young guys in, etc) that doesn't look too bad IMO

Also when it comes down to it in my opinion Brown has the first few games to prove himself. He was given too many chances last season.
If he doesn't cut it its time for Hoole or Cooper to show their cases.
