FFA Cup - NNSWF

Anyone tell me why in the Victorian FFA cup they play extra time but here it's straight to pens, with it being a national cup you'd think the rules would be across the board

From experience I went to see Sunshine GC v Nth Sunshine in the FFA Cup a few years ago one arvo before Jets played in Melbourne

Was a 4-4 draw at FT
6-6 AET
And Nth Sunshine won on pens

One of the most bizarre games I have ever seen

But they did go to ET and this would have been early on in their draw as the NPL teams were not in it at that stage
