Bay 41 is dead smack behind the goals on the Southern Hill. Probably has to do with the advertising boards or the fact the goals themselves block the rest of the field from view.

Talking about TV.....TV footage, does not look good in a semi when behind goal posts it's grass area and half empty!!!!!...... FFS we r now in the 21st century, hill and grass area are from prehistory time

Now assuming a few got legitimate reasons ie they died or missed flight to Brisbane or something else for no showing the amount of empty seats would indicate they called it as sold out early when it were not really sold out
i reckon they are there, just out the back gorging on the free booze and food.

Is it cause of those stupid ****ing advertising fences that sit a few metres inside the normal fence?
it will be interesting having to sit in a ticket seat.

has anyone sat in their own seats yet?

I did for Japan v Palestine, it wasn't too bad, we were just behind active support. Bought those tickets the night before the game though

How was that mazey run by Omar in the first half, that kid has so much skill. He really looks like he is going to be some player with a bit of experience. Some euro clubs are surely going to be throwing money at him.

Did for the first half of Japan v Palestine. As it looked a turkey shoot moved to the northern hill the second half to get close to the action

At Suncorp the other night I was on the 40m area/centre circle(end Korea Scored) 5 rows back on the upper deck so had pretty great seats so need to move

Dam, would have liked Iran to fall into the quarter final against Japan. One of the biggest would go before semifinal time.

UAE the jets of the Asian cup. 60% possession, 500 completed passes to about 200 for Iran and yet still less balls into the area and less shots at goal hahaha

Ah, remember those heady days of 2010 when we thought we actually had a shot at getting the World Cup?

Money was going to flow in and major upgrades would happen.

There was even talk of replacing the ATCO sheds.

    Good times ... good times.

I think you will find if it is Australia V Japan you will have no issues getting cost anyway which you are more than entitled to
Not going to hold people ransom for a once in a lifetime opportunity.

And for those interested it's still available although there has been plenty of interest with two firm bids (geez I feel like this is Football Manager)

Newcastles semi final has officially sold all of the currently available tickets. One would think even if the socceroos lose to China, it would still seem beneficial to set up temporary seating considering the number of Chinese nationals that showed up in Canberra from sydney.

Regardless of who is playing, this should happen. I think it will too.

No ****ing way on the world should it. Play the Politics game. Let ****s blow up at our stadium so small and shit

Some **** in power goes **** we should give more Socceroo games to Newy in future as it is a sell out and some other **** goes we better spend some more money fixing this place up and completing the ground.

We have been dealt decent cards here don't throw them away and play them with power
