Best of luck to him . Don't think he'll go too far unless he deals with the attitude issues (eg not having a sulk if he gets dropped)

Perth-born goalkeeper Mark Birighitti has helped his Italian team AS Varese chalk up their first win for three months in only his second match.
The 24-year-old also ensured the bottom side in Italy’s second tier kept a clean sheet for the first time since the end of February with a 1-0 away win at Vitrus Entella on Tuesday night.
Birighitti joined Varese from Newcastle Jets in January on a six-month loan deal but only made his debut last Sunday in the 1-0 defeat to Vicenza, following an injury to regular keeper Filippo Perucchini.
The Socceroos international, a product of ECU Joondalup and Perth SC, can put himself in the shop window in Europe by playing in Varese’s final games of the season.
Varese are all but relegated from Serie B to Lega Pro - Italy’s third tier - with the club 12 points from safety and only four matches left.
Can't wait til the bloke that helped not one, but TWO teams come dead last in one season comes back to save us.
Best thread.
Birraz back next year?

He was back on the bench for Varese over the weekend.
If the reports are to be believed from yesterday, his contract will have been terminated from us and he is a free agent. Pretty much the ideal scenario for him - he can either get Grella to find him another club in Italy/Europe or he can come back to the HAL to play against Stubbins.
