Stubbons, cue Capt Obvious, is completely out of his depth, on all levels, as a coach. he follows nicely in the footsteps of similarly useless types we've had to endure ; Egghead, Bruno, The Greek Fellow whose name escapes me, Money et al.
n fact, the Jets have never had a cutting edge, intuitive, tactically aware coach.
regarding the sacking of the big 5... I agree with the decision.
Jaliens and Madaschi have been terrible this year and deserve to go.
celeski has basically been wounded but appears to be a devisive type, who is probably not worth the trouble he potentially creates versus would he would bring to the team/ squad. if he was a high level contributor Im sure he would be Still in Melbourne.
Carney is a talented footballer who has no soul.
griffo has become a parody- he has become a mythical figure who has no resemblance to the bloke who trudges out on to paddock.
in a year of rebuilding, yet again, you would expect more from your leaders and we just didn't get it.
all are basically past it in terms of their contribution and seemed to fortunately blame a useless coach on their poor performances.
good move to axe them because, as ageing experienced players, we got got no benefits from that experience.
Stubbins is an embarrassment and is a classic example along with the re appointment of Egghead, of the brain dead thought processes that go on behind the scenes at this club.
The club is just too dumb, in terms of the appointments that take place, to compete
