Every club does dodgy tricks to trick the salary cap. But this Perth thing sounds super suspect.
I'd be interested to see if the FFA have ever investigated into us - I'm led to believe in the past we've paid over the allowable amount for the apprentice-style kids, and that's how we got them to sign with us.
I'm also super interested into how much of the player-agent action that has gone down this season in particular has been broadcasted to the FFA.

As for this player agent stuff I am pretty certain even though we are disgusted by the ethical issues there it is probably widespread through the league as well as right across the globe at Football clubs.
Nothing illegal in a Manager signing players from an agent he has struck up a relationship with and not signing them from ones he doesn't have a good relationship with.
The issue is when he gets a brown paper bag for doing so
