The old "scare the **** out of people" routine by unelected lobby groups who represent nobody but themselves seriously grinds my ****ing gears.
Do some research on Good Sports and you will find out that they are part of the Australian Drug Foundation which in turn also runs the The Community Alcohol Action Network who's advisory commite is made up of of community representatives, religious groups.
Here is a link.

These guys are just as bad as groups like the The NSW Minerals Council, Business Council of Australia, Gun Control Australia and all the ****ing rest of it. They are not offering good advice and are simply providing spin for a particular view point.
it's more about other sports where they get absolutely slaughtered and punch on after every game, then go rape dogs and glass their girlfriends
if you want to drink at games, either get a liquor licence for the club (which is a very tidy earner for a bit of hassle) or take it in turns to bring the beers
I blame the dickheads who can't handle their piss and carry on like pork chops - it gives your Tony Brown cock smokers like this the oxygen they need to get in the ear of politicians
so bringing a case of beer for da boyz is ok, but getting da boyz to chuck in isn't?
yes, according to the Good Sports bloke
although he wasn't particularly keen on anyone bringing a case and said it was illegal in parks to bring glass, which we already knew
but as far as drinking on a bus - NSW doesn't have open vessel laws so it's perfectly ok for passengers to drink
Wgmg? Yesterday during the Dawn Service a girl who looked about 14-15 asking her mum if they "could leave already, this is so boring"
Do they not teach kids humility and respect these days?
Oh and general Macho army heroes.
Jaliens gives me the horn
I've been going to the same dawn service for 6 years straight, and what I will say is the crowd at this years one was double, if not triple, the normal amount. So there were a bunch of fairweather Anzac-ers there already - it's no surprise to me that some were ignorant etc.
How about that nightclub in Sydney I heard about that dialled up the volume of their house beats during the serviceops:
OK
The bullshit sympathy for the Bali 9 ring leaders grinds my gears right now
Criminals who knew the consequences, deserve everything they get

If you're dumb enough to try and smuggle the drugs into Indonesia, you probably deserve the bullet

I'm with Buddha and Member.
They're drug smugglers who got caught. Do I agree with the death penalty? No, but it's not up to us. Indonesia has their own laws and the death penalty is allowed there. You got caught, you throw yourself at the mercy of their legal system. We shouldn't be telling them how to run their legal system.
As for the BS with regard to the AFP, if the AFP did the same thing with any other country where there isn't a death penalty, it wouldn't be an issue. Why should the fact that Indonesia has the death penalty affect what we tell them? Or should we stop sharing information with the U.S.?
