Pretty hard to gauge as the pitch was bloody awful &Edgy didn't let Azzuri into the game.Birdy played well until his injury took its toll.Lets judge after Wednesday game

If I was a diplomat I'd say you could possibly be undermining what was a dominant team performance by a side that deserved to be competition favourites but me thinks you're closer to the mark!Another 3 rounds will certainly make it clearer.

Club are looking at this an option with youth playing at Wanderers oval prior to a-league at hunter stadium.

Someone needs to tell the club that if there is no NYL then the youth team won't play at the same time of year as the the A-League. On top of that how will the A-League squadies keep fit throughout the A-League season?

Big arse slide, two feet up & follow through your opponent. Not bad but I've seen him do better. To be fair though it was possibly the only tackle Azzuri made all night!

Wouldn't be an Azzurri game without a trademark Tull tackle.

Pitch was pretty poor to be fair.I walked to the far side where the 45 degree seating is & although I'm carrying the odd few pounds over it was very soft in the warm up area so one can surmise the pitch also being very soft & badly cut up especially after the lead up games.

Pity we're gonna have to wait at least two more weeks for an encore!

    Jaffas 3 Jets Yoof 2

Good first half average second half Jaffas deserved win. Ref a sucking peabrain. Blew whistle all day for minor shut and let some of the serious shit slide

Jets took a lead after 10 mins through McDonald
Jaffas equalisers after 25 mins after Jets keeper decided to dribble in the box.Either Palozzi or Maj dispossessed him.I thought it was Palozzi and tapped into the empty net

Jaffas up 2-1 cracker of a strike from inside left channel into top right corner from 25yard

Jaffas 3-1 on HT Maj with a header after good work by the Korean?? I take it playing RB for Jaffas who got a cross in to the moneyzone

Michael Kanta came on at HT and scored with a cracker from outside the box a couple of mins in the second half

Plenty of chances mainly for Jaffas after that but no more goals.

Bridges came on for the last 25 mins

From that display Jets Yoof will be highly competitive. Grade A brain fart changed the game. Lost Crowley to injury after 25 mins and struggled in attack as his sub didn't really get into the game at all after that so assuming he is not gone for too long and they get the additions of Pavicevic Lundy Cowburn etc will be highly competitve

It was pavicevic who came on for Crowley.

Also the cross for majarovski header was a cross from the left.

Jets youth will finish bottom half on that display

The pitch at Lambton was very difficult to play on also.

Once again the jets respecting the competition by playing the u/19 keeper.

They were down by a goal yet the coach didn't change anything until 5 minutes to go, must be a stubbins muppet.
