Dudley favourites? Hardly, Wallsend and Kahibah results show that they are the 2 teams to beat. Dudley, Raaf and New Lambton will be thereabouts. As will Mayfield, They started slow last year and finished strongly.
Been a different forum this year, A
fair bit of roasting and a touch of comedy. We at dudley have been at the bottom (2014), Hopefully we will continue to improve and get some results. We respect all teams, Thanks New Lambton for the praise and yes I do agree the field was terrible. Hopefully that was the only game on that field this year, Ground has been in the hands of the council not our club.
I will also say well done to New Lambton in putting together a quality squad for season 1( I will toast as oppose to roast). You may have the eagles concerned down the track. Its difficult for clubs get a foothold in zone leagues, association may have to look at this as there has been some big scorelines in all zone leagues so far this season. Its important that clubs are sustainable, success is important for this in somes cases.
Email from Newcastle football about rescheduling this weekends games.

Sorry for the quality, didn't have time to add it properly so just took a screen shot
if mayfield can score more points than coals conceded they will be a chance , come on mayfield , how many years in zone league 3 , how many teams have joined zone league 3 and are now in zone league 2 , 1 or premier league. one day lol.
they have constantly promoted teams to fill higher grades. How many earnt promotion by winning? not many.. if shark attack is tenembit sharks they didn't earn promotion by winning last year either so chill out hey.
2 weeks without football = no good. C'mon mother nature, please be kind, let us on this weekend.
Maybe the weirdest football day ever. Senior ref arrived late, 2 other refs were determined to call games off. Senior ref arrives, game on, then game off, then game on, then game off, then after much protest game on. Ruled at 1.20, resssies 35 min halves. Field f--ken wet, smell of effluent in the air. God damn fun to play. Slide tackle = free kick.
Anyhow - Dudley win res 3-2, tough game in trying conditions. Well done to old fella "steve" who scored putting RAAF up 1-0, he is 52! Top stuff from our boys holding their heads high, last year we would have lost this game by 3. Great effort from both teams considering. RAAF came out fighting in second half but Dudley boys hung tough.
1st Dudley 4-1, score reflects the game, Dudley handled the conditions better and played a shorter sharper passing game. Dudley lucky not to be down to 10 in the first 5 mins due to a hand ball on the line but RAAF scored so the pen obsolete and fella stayed on! Dudley continue to display massive improvement from last year. Wont mention names but CB continues to dominate and has scored every game, quality player. What a blessing we now do not have the make up game. It appears RAAF wil do whatever they can to play home games as they do not have lights so SAT/SUN is their only option for make up games.
Agree , what a farce. Games should have never been played. Player safety was comprimised. Lucky no serious injuries occured, otherwise some questions might have been raised. Decisons on grounds should never come down to if the club has ability to host catch up games. So if you are playing up at Tomago and an East Coast Low forms, buy some flippers and a snorkell and pack them for the trip.
geez, a game was played and not at NBay.
since when has Tomago been Raaf home pitch.
Watched the games at tomago if you call it that. Raaf should be held accountable for forcing games in appalling conditions. Dudley deserves credit in both games. 1st grade played in slush conditions. Took their chances well. Made the beers more enjoyable from clubhouse. Dudley has to take favourites tag from what i've seen.
Have Dudley replaced their entire squad?[/QUOTE]
look threw earlier posts they were bragging about the new recruits!
Here is the match report on new lambton zl3s facebook page from the game against dudley.
Two hard fought matches on a surface of similar quality to Awaba tip saw NL have another week of mixed results in their maiden season in ZL3.
After dominating possession in both grades, and looking the goods for most of both matches, the goals werent coming for NL who were hit on the counter by Dudleys hoof ball tactics, preventing a clean sweep of the points out at Liles Oval after Reserve Grade posted their first win of the season courtesy of a Carvajal penalty.
Dont agree with the favorites tag being taken new lambton?
