I see James Holland is unsure about his next career move. He could really take a leaf out of the book of Mooy, Troisi and Burns and come back to the league to get back in the face of Ange while trying to go overseas again.
He could be the quality midfielder we have been missing and the one we can build a team around.

Great minds think alike. Was just thinking about Barton here the other week and how we have been missing that " Don't &uck with me " steely type in the middle of the park to not only give it to the opp but also his own if they look like dropping there heads.
I was spruicking the idea of holland coming back pretty well as soon as the season finished, ideal for what we are missing in midfield
In the midfield we have Pepper, Kanta, Cooper & Barresi already signed on. Both Barton and Holland would be a waste IMO, but 1 dominant central midfielder is a must.
Cooper's best work is as an attacking mid, not anywhere else and Barresi is also apparently an attacking mid who I'd assume would be the same. This leaves us with either Pepper or Kanta. Kanta is the better player but even then I don't feel he should be a starting player, definite potential to be great but still needs some work. We could easily do with signing two definitive starting mids for my money
I thought he would of been used to spending time in a place where he didn't have access to the keys..

I read an article a week or two ago and holland said he wasnt interested in a move back to aus "at this stage". But if theres no options in europe and a bit of coin thrown at him from here it might sway him
I guess the number of midfielders required will be based upon the formation the coach is going to play.
