With the problems Brisbane Roar are having, I think we should be getting prepared to cherry pick some of their players as has happened to us. If the FFA bail them out I assume the same process we went through would apply.

It would be tough to break the team apart because they would have a strong bond. They have been together for a while.

I'd be looking at Luke Bratten or Brandon Borello.

Victory re-signed Georgievski for 2 seasons.

And still have Australian Marquee spot available - assuming the Milligan deal ever gets finalised.

They've retained pretty much their entire squad and have added one of the best keepers in the league. Anything less than the premiership again will be a massive underachievement for them.
    OK

FoxSports has them linked with Holland for the vacant Aussie Marquee spot or alternatively Spira for the same role. I'd say their defence is their weakness, if I had to pick one.

He is awful at hitting long bombs.

Rubez, dubbed "Row Z" for his shooting ability, has more goals than Brattan does in a comparable number of games.

South Coast Wolves want back in the A-League hard, just launched their new logo and new team - Wollongong Wolves. But with the current TV deal it won't be until at least the 17/18 season.

On phone atm so can't post the story or Logo, but it does look good. Lot of Black and Red which might be treading on WSW territory, Wolves are more Red and White anyway.

The Wolves primary colour is red, it's a tribute to the Illawarra Flame Tree. I don't know whether they've ever had attachments to the black or white secondary colour in any serious manner.

The FFA set a ridiculous precedent by not letting Melb City wear sky blue because of Sydney FC, and I assume any colour change or expansion team in future will be harshly restricted on what they can and can't do.

When really, it means sfa what colour you wear in relation to other teams as long as you have alternate kits when playing away.

Ffa should Let the team choose the colours that best represent their club beliefs, and leave it at that
    OK

As a Wollongong native i can confirm the Wolves were mostly Red with the White as a alt strip.

I would be pleased to see the Wollongong Wolves back in a National League. I still maintain the second best GF of all time was the one where the Wolves came back from 3 down against Perth at halftime to win in a pen shootout over there.

To the best of my knowledge the club was heavily financed by the Frat club down there and when the social club started to financially struggle so did the Wolves. I believe the Wolves were also provided at one point in time free of charge the old facilities at Lysaghts in Figtree to develop as there very own new home venue after Brandon Park was given to the Uni.

    FMD

What's your point? More goals? Jardel has more goals too but is he better from long range?

If you've watched much of Bratten you'd know that he can hit a long shot - just doesn't pull the trigger every 5 seconds like Zad

So the fact that he's scored less goals than Ruben doesn't concern you in the slightest? This guy who you claim has a knack for scoring long range screamers has 4 in nearly a hundred games and that's somehow indicative of his ability from long range?

    You're delusional.
