I reckon we're in with a chance of this. We've got Brennan, Pav and Lundy as strikers but he'd be seen above these guys for sure.

Of all of those, surely only Pav is considered a "striker"? Lundy is more of a wide player (albeit cutting in and playing narrow) and that seems to be what Brennan was doing (plus playing everywhere) as well.

Not seen enough of Lundy to comment on that but I thought he was always touted as a striker.

Regardless, MacLaren would be ahead of them all.

(There's never a bad reason to post a clip from The Wire)

According to soccer_joel, super scout, Lundy is a left winger/inside forward. I assume the good Member (if he isn't also on global ignore) or anyone else that sees a lot of the youth can confirm?

@_Grimario @jeterpool Re Lundy on the foz.
He is a winger. Either side of the park.
He is not a striker at all. Maybe if desperate but no

OK, there we go. So Pav it is then.

Go get Maclaren. We will be against Melbourne City I reckon because articles say he is originally from Melbour and with space created by Josh Kennedy there is a position up against Corey Gamiero and David Williams

He played centrally while at Perth I thought? I'm just trying to get Matt Simon's name further and further down the list.

Imagine if we could change their squad position to the Marquees and the FFA would still foot the bill. It would open up about 400k to sign the rest of the squad.
