Can confirm it was cold. Westlakes handy side, we were lucky to escape with a draw.
It was freezing especially the breeze. Watching from first grade training on the top field the game looked very competitive with both teams dominating at different times. Our boys were stoked with a point in the shed.

Wbay 4 Nelson bay 3. Nelson bay unlucky not to win. I can't why wbay are in top 4 . They will struggle making semis after today's effort.

Disappointing second half from us and a couple of cracking goals from Charlie blew the score out a bit. Was a shame after a pretty tight and competitive first half where we gave as good as we got. Our ressies boys blew a 2-0 lead. 3rds was the pick of the games, charly 3-0 up with Westlakes bringing it back to 3-3 with a few quick goals only to concede again later after their second wind had gone. Nice little facility at Charlestown, shame about the cricket pitch in the middle but not much to be done about that.

horribly wet conditions with regular torrential rain but the 3 games played in good spirits. Good ground nelson bay have.
