I wonder what's happening with Brennan.

Is he still injured? I know for the Perth game a month ago he was ineligible. In late July he got a quad strain in Tamworth. He's not getting minutes in any trial matches. Not in travelling parties. Hmmmm. Mustn't be impressing.

The same question can be asked for Baressi. He was at Kotara's presentation day yesterday.

He's been the signing I've been most curious about...and have heard the least about.
AB/club did however send a nice video cherrio to all the little Jnr Cookers for their Preso day.

From what I seen of Baressi playing for the Jets Yoof team I am at a loss as to why we signed him.

I will give him some slack because he is coming back from serious injury but from what I have seen he ain't the answer for us at all

Probably another case of a player being signed when we have young local products like Cowburn and even Michael Kanta who are just as good, if not better and more deserving.

I think he'll be given a shot at some stage during the season. He's a different sort of wide player to what we have elsewhere in the squad.

By the look of training Brennan and Lundy will be fighting it out for back up winger. Obvious first choices at the moment are carney and alivodic. Leonardo and haliti are comfortable out wide or as inverted wingers as well so unlikely we'll see Brennan or Lundy until the inevitable injuries kick in

So u didnt hear millers interview last tuesday saying that a striker should be announced by friday?

And it was reported that a new owner would be announced by monday, although that came from the media, not the jets

I thought Miller was quoted saying he hoped it would/should be finalised by Friday. This does not mean announced.
