Does anyway else find it weird that the National Premier League which kicks off in three days has little or no coverage in media, either NBN or Newcastle Herald. It is suppose to be the highest elite competition in Northern NSW, if you didn't follow the game, you wouldn't know it kicked off this week.
Even the FFA Cup got two paragraphs in the paper of the results between four Premier league teams from Saturday night ????
Newfm even though I understand has kicked off where the Premier league hasn't, but it seems to get more coverage, especially from Newyty.
Will there be similar reports available on the NPL games.
Just think NNSW is doing a %$^& job, marketing and advertising their showpiece competition through mainstream media ????

Throw some more teams in play each other 3 times but make it a 6 month comp FFS.
It has been 7.5 months since the comp ended last season FFS

the season is way to short. but infact clubs dont want it to be much longer for the fact it costs them too much money!!

If the clubs cant afford it excuse comes up, DONT play players exorbitant amounts of money.
Say someone is on $1000 a game over 18rounds = $18000
$18000 over 27 rounds $666.66 a game

NPL has to be finished by Mid September for the National NPL championship that begins in Mid September
My prediction for 2017.
NPL will have a 12 team comp (current 10 teams plus Lakes and Wallsend).
Teams play each other twice = 22 rounds.
The herald in last 10 or so years have held articles , player movements ,team ratings etc on a wednesday.
So we should start seeing something tommorrow, if not this town is fu@ked
