Good point about the Saudis and how they out rank us they ain't playing anyone of note and beating the big names.
They ain't beating much in Confederation stuff.
They have done **** all in Asian Cups since we came to Asia and didn't even get out of the first group stage last WCQ campaign
The only way they can be ahead of us is if they are maximising their FIFA ranking by scheduling useless friendlies against weak opponents to be artificially boosting their ranking
Out of interest can anybody tell why Spiranovic hasn't been playing? Also Curtis Good is another bloke who dissapeared off the radar.
I believe spiranovic is injured
Curtis Goode has barely played any football in the last few years due to injury
I hope there won't be any repeat of what happened in 2011 where 5 Nepali footballers are charged with treason in Nepal for Game Fixing.
Latest FIFA ranking ..... We've moved up 17 places today ranked 50th and second in Asia (Iran 42nd and ranked 1st in Asia, so we won't go to Teheran I guess).....

If those pots are right and we avoid Iran and have to play only one of Japan or Sth Korea we should qualify easy.
The rest of those teams if we can't beat into 2nd spot then we don't deserve to go to the WC
Sure a couple will throw up some spanners on the road but we should beat everyone of them at home
Had a quick look at CONCACAF...for the 'just in case' factor.
Reckon we'd bring home the bacon there v 4th place over 2 legs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_F...%28CONCACAF%29
Basically win the 4 games at home V the lesser teams.
We should do easy.
There is 12 points
Try and get something from our games v Japan/Korea
We can do that home and away
Pick something up on the road somewhere againt the lesser teams.
We are there.
Away you not need to win as draws work just as well taking points off your rival teams
Also none of the lesser teams outside the Top 4 are going to win 8 -10 games in WCQ anyway as they will drop points off one another somewhere
Would like to see us get the dogeaters.....a bit sick of playing Japan all the time.
My 'worst case' scenario for tonight is:-
Sth Korea - echo what MFKS said.
Saudi's - diving turds and would be akin to playing the Azadi...nutters!
China - reckon their standard had really improved with imports in the domestic comp. UAE ranked above China??
Iraq - not a fantastic history despite the ranking differences over the years.
Syria - gawd knows where this would be played...
AFC draw explanation.

HAAHA -AHHAH - 3 of 4 last match days home gamesLike it.
