Wasn't aware of Manning, yes I am aware about the youth teams travelling from Taree, Port, Coffs to Newy and vice versa in the old FYL/SYL comps of years gone by....wasn't that an expensive exercise for parents.
Still, we have strayed from the point I was trying to make about no teams outside the Hunter playing NNSW NPL (or State League) but now Eland wants the Jets to engage with regional NNSW by playing an A League game there, like I said it's a bit hypocritical.

What about FMNC teams playing in WPL and NPL youth? They have provided some players for Jets teams.

10k turn up week in week out

To take a game away from them to chase this pie in the sky dream is just showing how out of touch they are with their own community

I take it Arsenal could move an EPL game to the Maracana and pack it out with 80k. Sure it be great publicity for the EPL. Be also great publicity for Arsenal.

But exactly why should they move games away from Emirates and shit on their loyal supporters all in the name of appealing to people who have little interest in them???

You think Arsenal fans in UK who support the club be happy they getting shafted to accommodate their plastic colleagues???

    I not

    That why Arsenal not do
Judging by the number of empty seats at the Emirates they may have to take a game or two to the Maracana.

If you want to keep clogging up the thread with ridiculous counterarguments based on trying to get rise, carry on, but its getting tiresome.

Arsenal don't do it because they have financial stability and a fanbase that despite the crap Wegener has dished up for 12 season still pay 1000 quid for season ticket. The Jets don't.

I'd take Zullo as a Left sided player if City decide to release him. Pace and wide left players are something we seriously lack. Injury prone yes. But who isn't these days.

The Daily Football Show have interviewed James Gardiner have spoken with James Gardiner and he's said the Jets are very close to announcing a sale. Ledman group could be finalised as early as tomorrow.

Sees the Jeff Von Schmouder consortium as the fall back to the Ledman Group.

WSW release a handful of players.

Castelen was number 1 on my wish list when we talking about it the other week.
He is older and a bit injury prone but when he is on he is near unstoppable in this league. He is the kind of player that can excite fans!
    Go get him Mr Lee!!!

Kamau leaving Adelaide to "pursue an alternate opportunity".

Where do we think that could be? Staying in the country? Overseas?

Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...
