Cheers mate, I wasn't too impressed when I went to shake his hand and he turned his back and walked.. I understand people get fired up on the field, it happens, but once that final whistle goes you should be able to shake hands, have a beer, etc.. When it comes down to it, we are all there for the same reason.
As for my "tackle", all apologies for coming through like that.. I was a little surprised it wasn't given too.. (In hindsight, I have no idea what I was thinking, evidently I wasn't.. haha) My old-boy was on the sideline right in line with where it happened and even he was giving it to me about how dumb it was..

His first year at the club and he certainly needs to pull his head in because childish behaviour like that is not something that we associate ourselves with. Dougie also needs to be pulled into line haha. He clearly said to me that the foul was "on the line", even though it was just inside. Even so, on the line is counted as part of the penalty box. He should either learn the basic rules or just cover himself by saying he thought it was outside the box!!!

NWM I assume you are involved with the Sun's. If you're not please correct me. But what part of the Sun's Motown game are you talking about? I will admit I played about 60 mins in the game and their weren't that many free kicks or hacks as such from what I could see.

We haven't had any problems with the Mo-town blokes, albeit there are a lot of connections between Gardo and Mo-town..
The only dirty player they have in ressies is that bloke who plays on the left (and keeper sometimes) that resembles a gypo love-child of Kwasnik and Vardy..

There's a player playing upfront, little skinny fella, talks a huge game and loves a push and shove... I'm all for banter on the field etc but there wasn't a tackle where I wasn't kicked, or told I'm a soft cock..... Then one of our players tried to shake his hand as he exits the pitch, he carries on and doesn't shake it... the game ends, all is well and then the little fella tries to chase down one of our players who returned the favour(of not shaking hands) and berates him all the way to the dressing sheds calling him a baby etc. I'm standing over a defensive dead ball to make sure my team has enough time to get set and he pushes me telling me to **** right off. Now there's a lot of focus on the one character but it happened all over the pitch there were a few good guys out there that played the game and just got on with it but overall my first statement stands.

Hahaha wasn't exactly dirty and know you're not that way inclined but I was well inside the box and Dougy then made a mess of things by stating it was on the line... On the line is in the penalty box. He's a doozey of a ref.

Yep, I am aware of who that is, not defending such behaviour, but believe it or not he is a nice dude.. Potters knows only too well, haha..

Yeah well, one may argue that the second goal shouldn't have been allowed too, but lets no go in to that..
In football, they tend to all even out in the end.. (Unless you are a Jets fan in which we just get fvcked every week, haha obviously..)

I'm certainly not judging him off the field, only on the field.

I understand where you are coming from now. I'm all for a bit of banter.. not what was said from some that night but proper banter. When the game is over shake hands and that's that, yes your first statement still stands
