Fark orf. This has been your long game for years. Suck us all in with your well sauced info to set us up for this outlandish claim.

Would explode if it comes off.

foti68 was the bloke who put the dots together on GVE and 9/11 so I'm already lining up for my Cahill jets shirt.

Well regardless if its Cahill or Milligan, where there is smoke there is fire. FFA has talked up this fund and never used it so maybe this has some credence and we will get a marquee and new owners.

It's would be bigger than signing Heskey if it comes off.

I am sure Lee (let's face it. It's the worst kept secret he'll be the new owner) and the Ledman group have money and want to make a statement.

However it's Newcastle and it's the Jets. I'm hopeful yet skeptical. If it's true at least it's a sign of ambition and intent.

    Thanks as always for sharing

Being Lee and the Chinese link i guess makes it plausible?
I still cannot see it happening though. Didn't Cahill only recently come out and say no to the a-league.
Milligan, i would be stoked with, always loved the guys style!

Milligan as another midfield signing though? Really stocking up in that area if it's true

    Time for Poljak to go?
Kanta to be used a fullback (id prefer him back there personally)

Touchy...of course not....Poljak is on a contract and (I thought) did well enough last season.

Kanta at fullback is asking for trouble, stopper yes, not fullback.

Poljak, i agree did well enough last year. But is "well enough" good enough when you have the potential to bring in someone who can really dominate that position?
And kanta needs a big year this year... its his last chance. I reckon he will step up! Typical playing for a contract type of situation.

You could pair Milligan with Boogs and bench Mullen/push him to LB/RB

Or bench Poljak, play Milligan in the midfield.

Either option would be very tasty

Can you imagine? End the season undefeated, still miss the finals because 2 wins and 25 draws isn't enough to scrape the top 6.
