Scott Miller has got his work cut out, for sure. I think the most important thing is to be patient, because it isn’t going to happen overnight.
“And that’s what the fans have to realise. It is a work in process. There’s stages to be set and climbed, retention of players and what-not, and once we have a solid team that can compete for the six, then obviously sky’s the limit.

If you want short term, throw stupid amounts of cash and see it implode in a few years.
Griff is on the money.
Yes, I think it's more a case of getting the structure and foundations right behind the scenes first...getting the club up to the level of most of the other clubs in the A League first ie physios, strength/conditioning coaches, staff in general.
Compare Tinkler starting off with the gimmicky Beckham/La Galaxy thing....yeah it was a great night and all that but where did the club end up under him a few years down the track because we were still basically in a semi-professional set-up!
Need to find a balance though, one ot two name players (not necessarily marquees) would give fans a but of a buzz and hope that hey we can improve on last seasons 8th spot and give the top 6 a real challenge.
Another supposed case of players playing where they shouldn't
