Great result for the Terrace in 1st. That's going to be a hard one to come back from for cooks hill in the second leg.

It's only half time, anything can happen in this strange comp.
Cookers are a quality side. Score line didn't reflect the way they played today. We definitely not getting carried away with that result, hence the reason for not singing the song after

    Respect...

I cringe when ever I hear about this happening in a 2 leg play off.
Cookers wouldn't have done it either had the shoe been on the other foot,
cause I'd be the shoe kicking butts if it got back to me that they did!

It just gives the opposition ammo for leg 2 if you start celebrating half way through!

Don't think you'll hear the Terrace boys saying that just yet. Jobs only half done. Cooks Hill are a very good ball playing side.
Mind you I'd be more confident going in at 4-0 up then 1-0 to the other teams home ground.

Cookers aren't done yet. They wouldn't have got a decent latte up Terrace way hence why they would've started slow. Watch out this weekend when they can get their chai....

Though I think cookers are better than the scoreline suggests, 4-0 is going to be tough to come back from. If they attack it just plays right into Terraces hands.

Agree, Terrace are so good on the counter attack. Cooks Hill have to push for goals but it opens them up for Terrace to play to their strength. Tough one for a coach to know what to do!

My plan would be to score 4 or 5 goals without letting Terrace score any. Just my opinion.

More rain forecast later this week on friday and saturday.
With Jesmond being at Jesmond park (which is terrible for wet weather) and having lost the first leg, you would think they would be working on a plan b?
