You seem to be. Was an injury replacement for Haliti.

Miller was right to let Kitto go
At this stage, Kitto > Clut imo

it's close but they they play different positions. You couldn't play Kitto upfront like we have with Clut.

At this stage Kitto+Clut+Anyone who can spell the word 'football'> Hoole.

I must be a Jets supporter. I was so excited when the little goal symbol popped up next the jets on my phone and then equally deflated when it also said 'Hoole', haha. We are a bunch of prvcks around these parts, aren't we.

I agree they're different, but Kitto is more effective at what he does imo.

Clut looks like he is more of a work in progress than Kitto, who is really testing defences atm.

We needed a supporting #10 though and Clut has showed he is capable, versatile and has an eye for goal.

Kitto pretty much plays one position and his goal scoring is pretty debatable. Don get me wrong, If we could have offloaded Pav & Brennan then I would have been more than happy signing him.

The club put us in the position in 14/15 that we would need to sign 3 x u20's for 16/17 yet have the likes of Brennan on a 2 year contract. That screwed our ability to recruit IMO

Ok that was the explanation I was looking for.

I'd still have found a place in the squad for him, it just grinds me that it looks like yet another (relatively) cheap young player with some potential is gonna go to another club and be gooderer than what he was here.

Both their goal scoring records are shit.

Kitto looks more dangerous though, akin to Nabbout atm.

If you have penetration down the flanks then you're halfway there. Same reason I think we should've kept Virgli. He causes issues with his pace. Just teach the ****s how to cross or when if doubt hit the **** out of it low across the box. Goals will come. Especially with clever strikers like Nobby in the guts.

I don't think even Virgili thinks we should have kept him. You can coach tactics, formations and fitness into senior players. If you can't cross by the time you are 22 you probably aren't going to learn. Virgili had a decent A league career but the league has developed beyond the level of some players, which is good for the game.

I understand what you are saying though, in regards to pace and penetration. I personally think that Nabbout is showing his class because of his touch and thought process rather than speed, Clut has attributes closer to Naboout than to Kitto so i would rather keep him.

Hoole helped us win vs Bris. Gets the Equalizer last week.

Some people are hard to please.

I personally think he was good the first 2 weeks and played well in the final 15 on Sunday as well as providing some great set pieces. But for 75 minutes of general play on Sunday he was absolute garbage.

Most in the Socceroos can't even cross. I think you're a bit tough on Virgli....

You're not wrong but to be fair, so were most of the team.

Credit where it's due, the team then surged and they all stood up...he stepped up and delivered the crucial moment.

That's not the point, you can't just stockpile right sided attackers and expect to have a squad or a team. Kitto cannot play #10 or #9 and Clut is doing an admirable job as a back up for these positions.

Miller 100% made the right call to sign Nabbout over Kitto, and might I add it wasn't at all obvious before the signing. No one wanted Nabbout but Miller saw what was there.

You want to blame anyone for not re-signing Kitto and that is Stubbins. WTF he thought was a good idea to give an absolute rookie in Brennan a 2yr deal is beyond me.

Herald being a bit over-keen with a season photo round-up already I think, like to think there's more to come...

Good to see some positive coverage from the Herald, had to flip about 6 pages yesterday to find any mention of the Knights.
