Word is Jimmy has come back and turned out to be not as good as he thinks he is - if he has turned into a headswell (moreso since Tara said he was hot!) Griff won't allow it.
Hollands skill level is about five tiers below his salary demands. The state funded CSL teams can accommodate him but no A-League team should even bother when you can do a lot better for a lot less money.
His main problem is that he cruises around like a marquee No. 10 when he defends and offers sweet fa in attack. he's become very lazy since he was a Jet all those years ago.

Jimmy is great. Last night he was excellent... just needs to be played more advanced, not deep in midfield. He's not that kind of player, ffs.
I agree. Looked good being able to get forward more last night. I would do many things to have him back with us
I also am not saying he is as good as he thinks he is or worth the money he is probably being played... but he is certainly a better player than the one that's played half a season for AU.
