I hope both BK's have successful surgeries as well. I hope BK6 comes back and is the Bayern Munich target player once again, not the BK6 he has been the last few months...

I hope his surgery is successful as well. I hope he comes back the player we all want him to be. At present he is a weak link in our team and I cringe when he is selected. Feel his absence will hopefully force GVE's hand to sort out or realise he needs to sign someone for our Central midfield because the combo of Kanta Zads and Jobe don't cut it in my eyes to play the way he wants us to. Need someone in there with a bit of class and these 3 don't have the touch of class say a KFC Hernandez or Flores Nicky Carle would bring
I believe this is the loss we needed to have. It proves our defence is and has been poor this season so far. Hopefully things can turn around and we can keep a clean sheet in the near future.
i'm sure i'll put this in here & it'll get put in two different threads, plus a new thread made for it, but here it goes:

grimario's keen for this - his fm game puts grossman way up thereGrossman joins Jets on injury cover deal
Tuesday, 20 November 2012 9:30 AM
The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have signed former North Queensland Fury player Chris Grossman as injury cover for midfielder Ben Kantarovski.
Kantarovski had arthroscopic surgery last week to clean up a small meniscus tear in his right knee and is likely to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
Grossman joins the Jets having made 43 A-League appearances for the Fury between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that the 25-year-old played seven matches for Queensland Roar during three seasons at the Club.
He has most recently been playing with Moreland Zebras in the Victorian Premier League (VPL).
“It’s unfortunate for Ben that he’s out injured with his knee, but I’ve been lucky enough to be called in to help out for a few weeks and I’m here to enjoy it, so it’s a great opportunity,” Grossman said.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for myself. The Jets are doing extremely well this season sitting where they are and I’m hoping to come in now and add something and help their roll-on in the season."
Grossman said he has been working hard to keep himself in shape since the conclusion of the VPL season in the hope that he would be picked up by an A-League Club.
“I’m hopeful of still getting back in the A-League and this is a great opportunity for myself and I’ve got to prove it with the time I’ve got here,” he said.
“I’ve been playing in the Victorian Premier League and keeping myself fit.
“That season finished about a month ago now, so I’ve had to do a little bit of extra work by myself, but I’m ready to get rolling tomorrow at training and hopefully push my case for next week’s game in Melbourne.”
The former Young Socceroo said he was eager to make a positive contribution to the Newcastle squad during his time at the Club.
“I’ve heard a lot about the boys here, that they’re a great group of guys. They’re sitting in a great position now so hopefully I can come in and it can be smooth sailing and we can all have success together,” he said.
OK
speaking of kanta's surgery - saw him walking around the stadium on crutches at the game on sunday. it was pretty evident, and with the confirmation of mrs v4 the physio, that he didn't need crutches to walk.
but atb bud - hopefully you come back into the squad and re-find your bayern form. if not, we will deport you to greece or something.
OK
Wasn't sure where else to mention it, but I just saw the first episode of The B-League which had Ritter juggling while Michael Bridges tries to psych him out by reading 50 Shades Of Grey to him.. hahahaha
The segment each week on Fox Sports is actually pretty decent, really enjoying it..
just saw the pic of grossman
he was at the game on sunday. was walking around the stadium with taylor regan. so was some other bloke. the mrs asked who the two not in suits were, i had no idea but said "they must be potential players". if they signed grossman, who was one of the two, i assume that means they must be thinking of signing the other bloke up also. no idea who it was, just thought i'd comment that there might be another signing on the way.
OK
Rumour is Liam Reddy as cover for Biraz.
Sauce NBN.
Middleby Gone
Lawrie Out
Hope he can stay off the turps long enough .
I thought he was playing in Iran?
Def rate Reddy more than Nash!
Disgraceful form from the Egg and Craig Deans if true. Can understand the signing of Nashy when Jack Duncan is away with youth NT and Nashy is needed to cover due to BK's injury. Can accept that.
Now that Birraz and BK are out the Egg and Deans should be showing faith in Jack and saying we believe you are good enough to play.
Jack Duncan should be in Nets at AAMI this weekend if we are fair dinkum. Show some faith in the ****ing kids. Playing a Newy reject in Nashy before him and even signing another bloke to sit on the bench at Duncan's expense is a ****ing CRIME.
Whats the point of having a yoof team if we ain't gonna use them and keep recycling hacks??
DUNCAN>> Nashy>> Reddy>>>Whoever
There's only 1 Jack Duncan
Give him a go
i've been massively underwhelmed with duncan every time ive seen him tbh. but in saying that, the same goes for both nash & reddy too.
OK
Who would play as keeper for youth if Duncan is brought into the first team? Gallaway?
Oh wait...
Reddy, once turd always turd.
