Had 5 starting 1st graders out and lost 1 nil (soft goal in first 5 mins) to a side who didn't lose a game last year...

Loving all the doubters though!

As i said in that post last week... i hoped you had players out, turns out you did but no one wanted to say anything until now.

Saw a bit of jesmond and Kotara. I hope they both had players out otherwise they are looking at a long year in ZPL.

Fair enough, I wasn't following the FFA thread too closely.

Certainly not saying we will go undefeated but was a little puzzled by everyone picking WB against us, a side we beat and drew with last year and finished above on the table.

Oh well, being written off is good motivation

Absolutely, use it for all its worth to motivate!
Warners Bay seemed like they were talked up a bit (not necessarily by warners bay people) so i guess thats why.

We've only got the Suns next so that should put us back on the winning track....

How does your ground go with water? Not much forecast but just curious.

Field 1 had drainage installed through the off-season, it's just about ready to go. Field 2 is normally very good, BUT, is protected at the moment because our women's NPL play on it. I don't envisage we'll have any issues with the game this week.

I think it was a bit of tongue in cheek mate. I seriously don't think they are going to let us rock up on Sunday assuming they'll get beaten.
