I think people forget that players are unlikely to sign 1 year deals. And while we shouldn't be held to ransom by players, we'd be doing bloody well to sign a decent squad to 1 year contracts. Not to mention if they perform well, re-signing most of them after 1 year would be nigh on impossible while a salary cap exists.Originally Posted by plague
