The most insulting part of this signing is that he actually a minor upgrade on who we have... That just shows you how bad Boogs really is nowadays.
I'm very worried about how much coin he is on. We already have an 'old head' style defender who is getting overpaid to teach the younger guys how they think defending should be done. We probably needed another defender, but surely something different to what we already have on the books.

Surely you can't play Topor and Boogs as CB's. At least Jackson brings some kind of speed, if only because he's a 100 years younger.

Bahahahahaha that's some funny shit. I think you need to watch an NTS game. Start with the Jets 4-5 years ago. The guy couldn't turn and chase then let alone today.
All we needed was another CB to compete with Jackson and Koutroumbis. That would give us depth and competition to bring out the best in them. Even an experienced NPL level would have sufficed. Not Iain Fyfe but younger.
That way we can use the $$$$ on a DM or RW/AM

No one said turn and chase... but from standing start he has (had?) surprisingly quick movement over the first short burst. Wouldn't want him chasing back after getting beat on the counter from halfway though.
