The fact that you met him at Schoolies should say enough, he was probably 8 pills deep and brain fried with a combo of pills, alcohol and gypsy semen

There needs to be a balance, which our defence - at the moment - aren't providing.

certainly. I cant see that improving for a while. Potential doesnt stop attack. tiggz does...most of the time...with help from reegz...

Brisbane Roar midfielder Thomas Broich is free to play in Sunday’s A-League match against Western Sydney after having his red card for violent conduct rescinded by the independent Match Review Panel.

Brisbane appealed the decision to Football Federation Australia on the basis that it's issue was an "obvious error" from match referee Brenton Hayward.

Broich was shown a straight red card on 44 minutes after an altercation with Newcastle Jets' midfielder Josh Mitchell in the Roar's 1-0 victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

Roar General Manager Sean Dobson said the club was confident the red card would be rescinded, leaving Broich free to play the weekend’s vital A-League clash in Sydney.

“We’re delighted the MRP has rescinded the red card shown to Thomas in Saturday’s match," Dobson said.

“Referees have a very difficult job and just like many of us they will, from time to time, make a mistake.

“The MRP is in place to look at these instances and, in our opinion, they have made the right decision in this case.

“We’re now looking forward to another important match on Sunday against Western Sydney Wanderers.”

I am not surprised with the MRP decision. It is not the first time this season that a player has copped the wrong end of the officials decision. I for one will be rubbing my hands if Mitchell is the second person in and instigates a fracas when he returns from suspension. wooooo!

More youth? You mean more Ribeiro ineffective as a DM, old man Bridges starting as an attacking midfielder.

    Confirmed.

Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets captain Jobe Wheelhouse will miss Saturday's F3 Derby clash with the Central Coast Mariners after injuring his right knee at training on Tuesday.

Wheelhouse suffered what is believed to be between a grade 1 and grade 2 sprain to his medial collateral ligament (MCL) and will be unavailable for Saturday's game.

He will have scans in the coming days to confirm the grading of the sprain and the anticipated recovery time.
Flogs on FB are celebrating his absence.

I'm pretty happy about it too. He adds nothing to the team.

I dont understand that at all..
I think Wheelhouse has been one of the "quiet achievers" in the team so far this season..
We are going to miss him on the weekend, bigtime..

Adds more to the team than perennial headless chicken and fan favourite Zad
Adds more to the team than lost puppy Kanta
Adds more to the team than "shit, have I been sent off yet" Pepper
Adds more to the team than "I used to be good now I am a shadow of my former self" Brown

He is the link from our shit back line to our shit attacking third.

So yeah. They are only just opinions and all, everyone is entitled to them... but yours are wrong.

And regardless, I couldn't care less if people think we are better off without him. My main comment about flogs on FB were the "ahahah **** yes, he is injured, hope he is out for ages means we can get Pepper playing, yewwwww" ones. Any cvnt cheering that one of our players it out injured (unless it is Jesic or Gallaway) should dead set neck themselves.

Whatever. I just don't rate his passing or marking or tackling or leadership or free kicks or creativity or ability to play the ball to heskey's feet. Other than that i suppose you may be right.
Our front third is shit because our lack of ability to play a decent final ball from the midfield. None of our midfielders can do this and Jobe is one of them.

Are you watching the same games as the people on FB who are calling for Chapman to be dropped and praying that Kanta is fit so he can come straight back into the team? If so, I am glad my opinion is so different to yours.
