The man delivers, i am forever in your debt
pretty hard to go past dachshund puppies
Most of my puppy pics of my boys were lost in a tragic phone accident. Those pictures please my heart
Just had to upgrade to a 4WD because his head hits the roof in the sedan! Once we settle back in Newy/Lake Mac we're looking at either getting another shep, great dane or irish wolfhound. Gotta love the large breeds!
If I was going to get a great dane it would have to be a blue great dane:

get a doberman. stay german. our dobermans will run riot on the lake together
OK
it's traditional to dock doberman's tails. we've had dobes my whole life, and dad's had them well before then. they look strange with tails imo. we got her in about 07, when docking tails was illegal in most states except in wa and maybe another state. we got her from wa. i have no idea on the legalities of tail-docking nowadays.
she's one of the best looking dobes i've seen - the pictures don't do it justice. she's an absolute gem too - crazy as anything, but so loving to people. the only problem with her is she hates most other dogs. we've tried & tried her whole life to get her used to other dogs so she's friendly, but apart from mums little dog & a couple of friends dogs she's grown up with - she just barks & we're not sure if forcefully plays or tries to harm other dogs. it's purely an individual-personality thing with her though, not an indication of dobes in general - she's the first doberman we've had that seems to hate other dogs. we think it's an ultra-protective trait she's got where she genuinely feels that any other dog is going to kill us - because she doesn't seem to be so angry at dogs walking past our yard when she doesn't know we're home/listening to her.
OK
pretty sure docking tails is illegal in nsw now.
we got a new weimaraner this year and she has a long tail, whereas our old one had its tail docked.
yeah it was illegal to dock tails in nsw back in 07 too. she was born in wa, tail docked there, and we got her sent over.
OK
