There was a Fox Sports rumour last year Nabbout was leaving which turned out to be bullshit. How is this recent Fox rumour more legit ?

Lawrie just made an announcement and said they have no formal offer for Nabbout. he also said that Nabbout's management has on four occasions said clubs were interested - but nothing formal materialised.

His manager has come out saying Urawa made an enquiry a few weeks ago + a dutch club. Said if an offer from urawa came, wont be until close to window close 31/3.
If ever there's a chance for Nabbout to make a late dash at the Socceroos and a World Cup, now is it.
He's had a stellar season so far and his chance of making more $$ will still be on the table come the end of our season. He's said a lot in the past about how grateful he was for the Jets to give him another chance in the A-league, so I'd hope he's not going to bail on us right at the business end of the season.

Didn't they say 'no formal offer was made'? That's just semantics, conversations and agreements may have been made but the formal offer is just the term used for the end result of negotiations.
