Girls showing a lot of ticker but the passing is atrocious.

How we are still even at half time is due to luck more than ability.

Passing is terrible, cant keep possesion, and far too many unforced errors.

WSW denied a goal by an incorrect offside call.

Scoring goals will be the challenge for the team this year.

Andrews as a lone striker at this level is going to be a problem.
She's good holding the ball up, has a decent shot, plus good in the air. But her lack of pace and average dribbling skills
mean she rarely gets into scoring positions making her easy enough to contain - especially so if the service to her is poor like it was tonight.

Passing was atrocious in this game. I thought Ridenton was the worst passer of the ball to ever wear a jets shirt but this game tonight was like watching half a dozen Ridenton's the passing was so woeful.

Considering the absence of any foreign players due to not having any money the team are doing very well. The effort is always there as is the desire to win - but we need more goals.
Our best chance for goals is Andrews but she seems to be the one playing others into scoring positions not the other way around.
We had enough chances but just didn't convert them.
Charley for Canberra is class - creates problems for defenders every week. Shows how good the USA national side is when she's not getting a run.

Could have been a much different result had it not been for the two sitters i think it was Nikki Flannery missed when it was 2 a piece in the second half.
