This points system really is, laughable when you see Valentine signing 7 new first grade players
Hurricane maybe you can explain the points system here for everyone so we can decide if it is laughable or whether they are following the rules.
I am sure you can download it from Northern and put a link up here Captain, too difficult for me.
I think you have missed my point but, I never questioned Valentine or said they weren't following the rules anywhere in my post. Good on them for trying to sign the best squad they can
My point was that the points system is doing its job if clubs can sign 7 or more new first grade players every year

Huge signing for Jaffas in the Herald
Krystian Brymora has left Magic for Green Gully in Melbourne.
Matt Thompson story from the Herald:
https://www.newcastleherald.com.au/s...pper-thompson/
Lambton coach James Pascoe admits he is surprised Maitland let veteran midfielder Matt Thompson depart after confirming he has signed with Jaffas for this year's Northern NSW NPL season.
After five years at the Magpies, Thompson and the club could not come to terms for a sixth season with Pascoe stepping in to snare the 37-year-old former Newcastle Jets premiership-winner.
After being sidelined for two months with a calf tear during the middle of last season, Thompson, a former Socceroo, returned at the back end to play an instrumental role in the Magpies winning the premiership.
It was a factor not lost on Pascoe.
"He has captained two A-League clubs and scored 33 goals for Maitland in 88 games from the mid-field," he said. "I think he offers a lot still both on and off the field. I'm surprised Maitland didn't want him and I'm really glad to have him on board."
Pascoe is not concerned about Thompson's age.
"We've all seen what impact Daniel McBreen and Josh Rose have had at Edgeworth," he said. "It was the same with Jobe Wheelhouse and Joel and Ryan Griffiths for us over the last couple of seasons. Like I said, I'm really happy to have him."
From last year's squad, Jaffas have lost leading goal-scorer Braedyn Crowley to Maitland but the signing of Thompson comes following the recruitment of Mitch Oxborrow and Kale Bradbery from Broadmeadow and Scott Pettit from Hamilton.
I hope the signing of Thompson doesn't limit the progression of someone like Finn Paris who I thought was excellent last year.
Is there ever lists published by NNSWF or anyone else that shows player changes at each of the clubs?
Looks like a fair bit of player movement has occurred and I'm struggling to remember who has ended up where....

Thanks mate, much appreciated.
Wasn't aware of a few of those movements, especially Olly Smith leaving Edgy.
Sutherland going to Westy is a big move as well, probably one of the best young blokes in the comp.
Not much movement at Adamstown or Lakes though, might be another long season for them.
