To any young fellas or girls wishing to buy a good quality guitar, don't listen to this crap and buy a Gibson or Fender and you can't go wrong.

I'd be happy to own Schecters and nothing else. Best guitars I have ever played.

Love my ESP, but it’s well down the list of guitars I reach for. EMG pickups limit the usefulness of a guitar for me and the ESP gets limited use because of it.

Same with my Ibanez with active Seymour Duncan’s.

I’m curious which level of schecter you have played. Yep some of the lower end is akin to LTD, but the upper end is every bit as good as a high end ESP.

While I am a slave to Gibson, I’ve played my fair share of complete pigs from both Gibson and fender. Never assume those names mean you are getting a good instrument.

Original BC Rich guitars are getting very expensive now. Well and truly out of my comfort zone.
Pre Norlin Gibsons and Pre CBS Fenders I don't even bother looking for now - they aren't that great to play and as an investment there's far better options [ no pun intended] out there.

I have both and everyone I listen to plays either, besides Pat Metheny who insists on Ibanez, and Dave gilmour who is a collector.

Other than a bit of a play of guitars that mates have owned I can't play. I only own a 3/4 acoustic myself.

I'm referencing one of my favourite guitar players. His signature Schecter retail for like 10k.

Great video. Interesting that Gary Holt only uses .88mm picks. I would have thought he'd be using something a lot thicker.
