They looked like world beaters last week with precision passing all over the park.
This week they were playing too many long balls and showing zero composure in front of goal.
The effort was there but they went down to two very soft goals without really threatening the oppositions goal.
I wouldn't be surprised if a few of our key players are carrying injuries - they certainly looked like they were struggling.

Yeah I would agree with that.. To be fair, the ground looked horrible and not exactly conducive to a flowing ground game..
The first goal, well, that was a cross that just caught the keeper off guard.. I was surprised that the second goal was allowed to stand? The forward coming through cleaned up our keeper on the follow through, it was no wonder the net was empty when she hit it home..

Yes. That artificial turf pitch looks about ten years past its use by date. Would definitely be a big advantage for the home team as well.

MVC 3 Jets 0 at half time.

Wind behind us in next half will help.
But unlikely we can salvage a draw let alone a win.

The fitness and strength of our team needs to be addressed.

They are simply not up to the level of their opposition.

Tactically it's long balls from the kick off, a midfield that can't pass, and defenders who play most of the game facing their own keeper.

If a team presses high against them they get pinned everytime and turn the ball over.

They really need to go back to basics.

Great half by the jets. 2 goals to nil and could have been 4.

Jets are very physical tonight and the passing has been slick as well.

Glory have made a few runs but Jets defence had been very good closing them down.

4-0. With 7 mins to go now.
Great effort by the players and coach to get back into the winners circle.

1-0 downbat half time but we are doing ok. We had a goal disallowed for offside whick looked ok, and our keeper failed to control a high ball and was punushed at the back post.
But overall we are very much still in the game.

Half time and canberra 1 Jets 0.
Promising half and we get the wind behind us in the 2nd half which should help.
Canberra have a lot of pace up front and look very dangerous on the counter.
But overall we are still in this thanks to Claire Coelho having an outstanding 1st half.
