Squad today isn't filling me with a lot of confidence.
Obviously no Penha, but also no Boumal, Regan or Goodwin.
Also reverted to the back 4 and Hoffman is starting at left wing over Yuel, Silvera or even Mauragis who is on the bench for Murnane.
If this team can't put away chances like against Perth we're gonna be in a lot of trouble
Beathcake!
3 cards in the first 25. Beath is in a real "look at me" mood.
Getting some great audio of pappas. He doesn't sound all that happy.
Alot of cheap turnovers
These fullbacks of ours are ****ing shit
No Penha
No Boumal
No headless chicken play from Yuel
These two fullbacks are now exposed as offering absolutely ZERO in attack
If they could defend good that could be tolerated but we be better off with Headless Chooks like Gypo Miller or Raheem Hoole playing fullback and ****ing shit up as it would open things up for other players
What a rubbish half of football.
5 cards! Ah ah ah. (Need to read that with the voice of the count from sesame street).
7 cards now.
This really is a poor performance.
Pitch is a disgrace
Performance is a disgrace
Very poor week
Someone needs to tell me what anyone who manages newcastle, what the hell is seen in Dane Ingham. Every week the bloke does more roundabouts and u-turns, and you have Sam Silvera on the bench. Different year same old jets.
That goal says so much about Arques as a DM
Jockeys a guy in the box half heartedly
Also says plenty about our CDs who should also be not letting people shoot from that area of the pitch after the slow build up
That guy should be getting his shot blocked every time in that situation
Nice finish
The real Jets are back. Make the Smurfs look 2nd rate and then follow it up with a draw and loss to the two bottom and shittiest teams in the competition.
Didn't get to watch this one, fortunately.
But with half our attack missing, I wasn't expecting goals, and with Hoffman, Jurman and Elsey starting, I knew we would concede.
At least it sounds like Papas realised he set us up wrong and tried to change things. Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve criticism for the shitty setup in the first place, but at least he's not arrogant enough to not accept his fault and change things.
