Tenambit was always a good place to go and play in the lower zone leagues. Good field and facilities and it appeared like they had a few people that tried to make it work.

It's disappointing the way it's gone that clubs come and go at the drop of a hat and Tenambit were a team that should still have a zone league squad. Sustainable zone league clubs are hard to come by, I guess all ZPL and ZL1 Squads are stable. But it only takes 10 or so players to drop out of a zl2 or zl3 squad to make the club vulnerable.

Maitland is a growing area, but at the end of the day there is only enough players to go around a certain number of clubs. It appears that Bolwarra, North's United and South Maitland have stable clubs who will hopefully stay around. Flooding the Maitland area might affect these clubs in depth of numbers.

Maybe in a year or so a Tenambit or even Maitland Juniors might come back in zone league 3. Maitland Juniors were also a good club for a zone league outfit especially with the ground improvements. But a lack of success on field was probably the reason they failed to survive which again was disappointing. Maitland seniors were successful, but I'm not sure if they were ever going to be a long term club in the lower zone leagues.
