3-1 to Belswans. Far closer than the score suggests. Belswans took just about every chance they had while Kahibah were wasteful. Overall. pretty evenly matched sides. Refereeing was a little lax and a few dodgy tackles were happening

I’m just waiting for the, look at stags 18s result, instead of a 5-2 win over the team that just beat NL 4-2…. I’m sure daggers be out if it was westy 5-2….. go the stags

Having 8 players play isn’t going to end pretty for any team is it… The fact it was only 7-0 with 3 extra players for 65 minutes and 4 extra players for the last 15 is sad on Westy’s part. Stags didn’t stop until the end and did well considering the circumstances. Watch out this weekend for when they have a full team again. Will be interesting.

its a great improvement for stags 18s - remembering their 18s lost 12 - 0 to New Lambton last year. Stags 16s last year were good and if 7 or 8 players can hold westy to only 7....might be another long year for the westy 18s. Well done to stags on starting to steady the ship in the younger ranks, obviously paying off in firsts.

Steady the ship? Right now it is two pieces of drift wood. They are missing three teams from the younger ranks.
