1-0, Buhagiar with a "typical" Jets goal.
And the typical Buhagiar missed sitter
I love how every season for the last 5 they say the only thing missing from his game is finishing, Be saying it for the next 5 also.
2m behind the ball not enough to call that onside?
bastards...how dare they give a glimmer of hope

What an embarrassing team we all support
Normal service resumed. Conceding two goals after the 90 minute mark
Crazy that no matter who the coach is, and no matter who the players are on the pitch, we still find ways to throw it away late. Kinda thing that needs to be studied, it’s borderline ingrained in our culture at this point
God I've missed this feeling

We didn't deserve that win...geez we did it the hard way.
Is Stanton still on probation? Asking for his own sake

Depressing that we made such a meal of that cause it’ll overshadow that for the first 90 minutes we were a consistently better team and even had a clearly onside goal disallowed.
our backline looked solid, though I could go with a more experienced hand back there. Taylor, Piscopo and Archie all looked good, again with a more experienced goal scorer up top they could all work really well together.
Buhagair shouldn’t touch the pitch ever again though. That bloke needs to go.

Jets were extremely dominant first half, That needed to be reflected greater on the Scoreline. But that has been a huge problem for them during Papas time.
By not killing the game off early allowed the victory back into the game.
Thinking Stynes will be at the low end of the pecking order after tonight.
I reckon if this game was another week away and Victory managed to get even half their first team back in time to play we would have been in big trouble.
We looked like a dominant regular NPL side versus an A League club's youth side. And even then we couldn't handle the game once a couple of first team players made it onto the pitch in the second half.
Also, I know it's only early on but Stanton just did exactly what the players were taught under Pappas, absolutely no difference to how we played last year. If that's the case and we are going to play with a bunch of fringe players and youth, plus a rookie manager, we might be in for a very draining season as fans.
Surely Crowley is better than Buhagiar
