17 Games 1 assist last club

Kind of typifies where the club is at and the financial support the club is being afforded.

When you look at the quality of the squad being assembled they should have just folded the shit show.

I'm sure the members would return if they were treated like gold 380, but they are treated like shit. The management has continued to listen to facebook. If you base the club on facebook, then you better well hope that facebook turns up. Which they won't

I certainly didn't see this move coming. He didn't play great minutes in those 17 minutes. At 24 , I think he has probably made the move for more game time.

According to Stanton, we are planning on signing a foreign striker and an experienced CB as two of our final 3 signings for the year.

Does anyone know what formation Stanton liked to use during his time as Sydney youth coach? Cause this team doesn't feel suited for your typical 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 that most teams use now and would be better suited to something like a 4-4-2

There was a brief conversation on twitter I saw today where a Jets fan suggested 4-4-2 as the formation with the players we have signed.

I suggested 3-4-3 but Jimmy Gardiner said he believes it's 4-4-2. He would know, having been at their training.

Sydney FC's youth team this year have played 4-4-2 most times I have watched their games, Although that has nothing to do with Stanton.

I Don't think we have enough depth in quality in central midfield to play 4-4-2 as it will put alot of pressure on the 2 in the central areas. We do have a few guys that can play as wingers so I'm not ruling out 4-3-3. Dowse and Clayton Taylor are suited to playing as wingers.

Being a young guy he should be playing as a two up top while he develops

Exactly why anyone expects a young striker to play up front on his own and be a success is bizarre

Jimmy Gardiner has dismissed the link.

    https://twitter.com/JamesGardiner42/...18956977504258

"I'm told by good authority that the @NewcastleJetsFC haven't spoken to Mongil. They have put an offer to a different European defender and are awaiting a reply."

Apparently Kerala Blasters are interested in signing Trent Buhagair

Honestly would be a great thing - get some money for the bloke and then put it towards someone actually competent

If the figure from the blasters is not enough for the Jets then surely we can pass the hat around to help the blasters out and make this happen.

James McGarry looking like going to Aberdeen on a 6 figure transfer fee. That money could have gone to the jets.
