They are competing with Azzurri and Kahibah which are already established. Tough gig to draw from 3 neighbouring suburbs if your Dudley. Next year could be embarrassing if they finish in the top 4. Then what happens

Sounds like a stupid system to me especially with no GF in Northern League 1
Dudley can compete in NL1 without youth teams. However, under the current rules they cannot be promoted to NPL and they cannot compete in the promotion/relegation series. There are rules about a non eligible teams and I assume they are on the NNSWF website.
I am told there has been some discussion around Dudley getting an 18s should the 18s be removed from PYL, but as that is not happening (for now) it is only talk.
I have no doubt that Dudley will be very strong in NL1.

I noticed Dudley has interdistrict competition youth teams...what's to stop them simply paying the YL licence and saying they are now PYL teams (competition is a team short already anyway)

Wonder how much having the licence would add to their registration fees (the only negative consideration I can think of)

Yep, I think Uni will do Suns next week as well. Something off at the Suns.

It?s the juniors, they play at redhead, they aren?t affiliated

They can try to get youth, there is currently a free spot in there. To be honest, Dudley aren't getting promoted next year anyway, so perhaps focusing on survival first and then look for youth in 2026 is the better option.

Survival 😂. I think they would be disappointed in not making the top 4 with their current squad. I think if they are working towards youth in 2026 they should be eligible for promotion next year.
Also if they are trying for an 18?s the federation has to try and accommodate. The federation forced them up so the federation should be making exemptions to assist newly promoted clubs

Suns are a quality unit. Uni were incredible against Olympic, but can they do that two games in a row?
    I?m not convinced.
If I?m not wrong Saturday was the first time this year Suns have been held scoreless. I can?t see that happening again. Way too much firepower up front.

Exemptions for what? They don't need youth including 18s that's the point.

If they manage to get youth for 2026 and they go up, highly unlikely that they will be, then they will be promoted to NPL.

Suns with to much firepower up front. Uni strength isn?t their defence.
Outstanding season from the students I don?t think anyone picked them to go this far

Unhappy camp. Some of that firepower will be missing this week I?m told.

Well if Aiden refuses to play they have a couple of players up front from their Res team who have been firing in goals all season. I think Suns will still go into the game with a very strong attacking lineup.

Why would he refuse to play. Long season to play to spit the dummy and not play the last game or 2

I?d find that hard to believe

Hey im with you. I get the feeling our mate here is talking BS.

Perhaps Lofty can put any rumours of unrest to bed?

Why would he even bother to reply to rubbish rumours on here.

I?m sure the Suns are busy preparing as best they can for 3 grades this weekend.

No one said he refused to play.
I said it?s an unhappy camp.

Why else would a starting player ring a mate about moving to an opposition club next season.

Maybe he can explain why the GK who moved from Mayfield is fit to play but doesn?t get selected and yet they continue with an outfield player.
