I?ve been involved in zone league for 15+ years and Merewether vs Suburbs is the one fixture that never fails to produce some sort of magic. I know Suns vs Croatia will be a good tightly contested battle but I can understand why Merewether vs Suburbs, given the history between the fixture has been selected. Although I spent 3 years at suburbs there is no bias
Well if you attend them all the time why not offer your service to BarTV and help broadcast those games to those you are thinking about.
I always believe there are two types of people, problem solvers or those who complain about problems. It's good to see what category you fall into Kevin.
Whoa hang on there judge judy. Stop rolling out that "you volunteer" turdfest. Ive offered to assist Bartv and they tell you to p*ss off.
So now ive earnt the right to call them useless c*nts. There are actually 3 types of people: solvers, complainers, and do gooders who think theyre helping but ruining society. Hello No 3.
Match of the round washed out !!
Just tuned into Bar TV to watch this week's game. Nothing? Then I see on here it's a washout. Come on Newcastle Football, it's been sunny for a week. This is embarrassing, Amateur hour.
There was a bit of rain last night and 5mm did fall in Merewether. But perhaps Merewether were short a few players so were able to say the ground is too wet, rain is what Hamilton needed last week and there would be no forfeit.Originally Posted by riverboy;281***
I think all involved with Merewether including myself were extremely surprised the game was off, we were ready to play especially after a dominant win midweek.
Yes, there were a couple of players unavailable. But for us that happens every week, we have built a decent squad so even if 6 first graders were out we would still be confident of a result.
But the facts were there was rain at Myamblah last night and anyone that is familiar with the ground knows it doesn't take much to turn it into a mud pit.
Did you notice all the other games scheduled before ZFL were called off as well?Originally Posted by riverboy;281***
You obviously have not seen the emails clubs regularly get from council about not damaging grounds.
