Thought you would be happy that Thornton is coming down and that South Cardiff managed to avoid relegation?

Southy or Wallsend coming down may have been the death knell for those clubs. Thornton has a real opportunity to land some current NPL players from Maitland, Weston and other guys from the up the Valley who don't want the pressures of NPL anymore.

We have seen it in all the Newy bases clubs already, I think they will be very strong in this league!

A fair few old NPL and NL1 players in the area already play for Norths and Bolwarra in ZL2. Will be interesting to see if Thornton can attract those sorts of players. I would have thought that was the end for Wallsend if they were to go down.

Newcastle Football and Northern should be pressuring council and NPL, NL1 clubs out of the finals to use their grounds.

I think you?re forgetting about all the juniors that NPL teams now have. That are still playing and they have finals as well.
Two senior teams not in finals, has just made some room for junior catch up?s.

Credit for getting the game on a wet pitch. What clubs should be doing if they can.

Looking forward to seeing Mayfield and Croatia tonight.

Don?t be surprised if it?s called off. Mayfield have a contact at council and ground could be ?unsafe? and it has nothing to do with their mates playing the Jets tonight.

It?s true, this morning had a damp spot in one section, by this afternoon it was dry enough to play.
