Moving on from some of the dross and pot stirring.

I would like to give a shout out to Warners Bay for hosting the games last night, given the weather lately the field was in excellent condition, and would be one of the best pitches we've played on this season.
So credit to the club and grounds staff for being able to dish up a nice field to play on, myself and the boys were all pleasantly surprised.

Always surprised to hear that people are surprised. Comfortably the best playing surface in the competition and has been for a few years now.

    Mayfield vs Stockton
Only played 39 minutes with two stoppages due to hail and lightening. The conditions deteriorated and took referee to call it off after one of Stockton's midfielder got injured severely. Mayfield scored about 37 minutes mark and were leading 1-0. I guess the game will he replayed from where it finished and score to remain as 1-0.

Maybe the Mayfield poster was not lying when they said they postponed the midweek Croatia match due to the pitch being unplayable and potentially dangerous.

Just makes those clowns BuiltWithLove & zone insider look like an even bigger pair of fools

You said it was embarrassing that mayfield chose to close the fields yet in hindsight it very clearly looks like it was the correct decision.

The pitch looked dry today. The referee decided to start the game. He called it off after less than a half. The pitch obviously wasn?t as dry as it looked today or Wednesday.

I notice Edgy called off their semi today. Do they have a mate at the council they rang too?

Tbf Edgy don't need council to call off the game, Lake Mac council gives the club running the ground full authority on closures.

Correct but that doesn?t suit their agenda or pot shots after Mayfield were exposed

Suns ground also got called out. Was their old boys day as well. Shame the Croatian council guy was not there to give his blessing for them to just get on with it and continue playing.
