It was a finals series involving 3 of the 4 best teams from the Newfm competition. A two legged fixture followed by a one off ultimate winner takes all clash between the two teams left standing. Or a grand final as we refer it to in this country.
You can try and dress it up as something else all you want but the rest of us that actually have IQs higher than our shoe size can actually see it for what it truly is.

Why are teams who run 3rd and 4th afforded the opportunity of promotion especially after finishing 15 or more points below the top two, I?m not in favour of this at all

It's not a NewFm Northern League 1 grand final. End of story, don't care how you think it should be done it isn't done that way and so calling it something it isn't is just plain wrong. Like your claims about Mayfield.
The finals series is made up with a vast majority of Newfm teams based on where they finished in their league campaign. Hence it?s a finals series for the Newfm competition with one outside addition. How is that so hard for you to comprehend?
You do realise I made no claims against Mayfield I was in fact actually sticking up for them saying that they made the correct call in closing their ground midweek. You have had an absolute nightmare here pal
