My deepest condolences to Peka?s family and the Cardiff boys.
Today is a truly sad day for the local football community. What a gentleman?kind, passionate, and deeply respected.

Mate, rest in peace. You will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you and sharing in your love for the game. It was an honour to walk alongside you in football and in friendship.

I don't know anyone on here but feel like we all know each other.

This absolutely sucks and thoughts go out to everyone who knew him.

Give your family and friends a hug tonight. Life's just not fair sometimes.

Shocking news the passing of Peka. He was so fiercely proud of his club. He made the Tigers such a better club for his involvement. He was always up for a chat about football down at Evans Park.
Newcastle football was better for having him and it?s a sad day for the Tigers. All the best to his family

My Condolences go out to Andrew's Family Friends and the Cardiff City Football Club.

Andrew was a well respected figure in Newcastle Football Circles. That respect was gained through years of dedication and commitment to South Cardiff and Cardiff City Football Club's.

Andrew had a great understanding of the Football landscape in the region. He welcomed me and many others into the Cardiff City Football Club. Even though I'm involved with a different club now after our squad fell apart, I regularly discussed Football with him.

A sad day for Football in the region.

I didn?t know him personally but as a long time lurker on the forum he had a great passion for local football and his club Cardiff, which will be missed.

Condolences to his family, friends and those at Cardiff.

    Absolutely awful news.

I was President of Cardiff Juniors when Cardiff City was moved across to Evans Park by LMCC, previously there had been a bit of tension between the two clubs but Andrew was very quick to extend the olive branch and we had a lot of dialogue about how the two clubs could work together and have a relationship that was mutual beneficial. As it happened Cardiff Juniors ended up folding due to more than a few financial and admin issues and Andrew without hesitation invited us all to come across to join Cardiff City and seamlessly become part of their club.

He undoubtedly bled tangerine and he'll leave a massive hole not just at Cardiff City but in the Newcastle football landscape as well.

    Well said Evo.

Pretty crushed. Top bloke. Will be hard to replace in Tigerland. Well played PEK.

Extremely tough for Uni to win tomorrow night, let alone Kotara/Croatia the following week?

    Croatia 6 Kotara 2

Croatia have yet again proved why they are the best team in this competition

A good crowd at Pasadena last night and food was good.

Ground is terrible and needs alot of work.

    Reserves
    Suns 3-1 Kotara

Suns turned up to play and the premiers went down. Interesting Suns played with 10 men for 10 minutes only for the player to be called back on after a ref error.

    Firsts
    Croatia 6-2 Kotara

Kotara 1 up in the first minute after a GK error and should have had 2 soon after. Five minutes later and it?s 1-1 and the Croatia machine kicked into gear and were up 3-1 at HT. That machine continued and they put 3 more past the Tigers (one og) which was also the second for tigers after a defensive error by Croatia.
The Tigers had their chances and hit the woodwork a few times as did the Croats.

A bad night for Tigers but I think they can bounce back.

Croatia well drilled with quality. Hard to stop when they get going.

    And yet?

Suns decimated by injuries fielded a very different line up to their usual.
    Uni too quick and clinical.
Suns put two over the bar from inside the six yard box late in the game which didn?t help them.

    Uni 3 Suns 1
