    On a lighter note, Badalato has been named AFC Youth player of the year. Not bad. Also whispers that Western have been saved, back next year.

    Western have been accepted into the VPL in men's and youth for this season to hold them together for a hopeful A-League return the following year.

    You gotta question Glory management here. What did they learn after two rounds that didn't know already after the completion of last season. Perth fans have every right to be filthy.

    A-League's have recycled their list from the Mariners article the other week - Anastasiadis, Nick Montgomery, Hutcho (wanker), Kisnorbo...and Jon Brady as a left field option.

    This. The management backed him last January as he cleared out half the squad, backed him again with even more recruitment and so to bin him after 2 matches seems strange.

    I always got a sense he was out of his depth however.

    Wouldn't mind having Brady on our coaching staff here. A Newy boy and did extremely well with Northampton Town including a promotion to League One.
