Heaton Park is nowhere near NL1 requirements if that answers your question

They are 1 good year away from needing it to be NL1 standard

Yep It's possible. Last time I saw Heaton it was pretty lame. Has it improved? is there a fence and grandstand?

The local grounds are a disgrace.

I?m all for Pro and Rel but large amounts of grounds are terrible and will not meet the criteria.

Has Northern got a plan with councils for this? I won?t hold my breath.

It hasn't had any changes in at least 4 years. No fencing, no stands, and the clubhouse is the most basic thing you could think of.

Why would anyone think this place could host anything else other than Community football

The only answer is that they are ready to improve the ground ASAP. Can a Crab answer this?

Doesn?t hurt the Newcastle Football TD plays for them.
