Thread: 2025 Zone League 2

I'd like to know why Bolwarra won club of the year, I was at their final against Norths and it was pretty obvious which club had the fans. It felt like a Norths home game, Bolwarra had a pack of blokes hiding near their changerooms but silent as a mouse.

Bolwarra have a no dkhead or big mouth policy. Join the dots. They win by miles

So every club in zone league has dickheads or big mouths except this one particular club, so they won the award?

Everyone in ZL also says they have good culture 😂

The thing that annoys me most is they have weird numbers at Bolwarra, hardly any 1-11 in starting first grade, even the keeper had some random number. It?s criminal.

Your username suggests you support Liverpool. In Liverpool's most recent EPL match, more than half the starting lineup had squad numbers outside of #1-11. Including a keeper wearing #25.

    Must be Trent Alexander-Arnold's fault.
    OK

I support the real reds too. Not sure if Liverpool or any other big EPL Squad is a fair comparison. Take out the obvious massive gap in ability. Liverpool have a genuine 20-25 First team squad, 20-25 players doesn?t go into 11. So obviously they would have to use other numbers.

Minmi cherry picking some of the suburbs guys after a disappointing year for the burbs. High risk-high reward type of move. Hearing one of the Cardiff standouts is also training with minmi, they might be one to watch heading into the upcoming season.

I guess that?s what happens when Minmi had what most people would agree with, a successful season after being relegated with the season they had in 2024, players from clubs wanting to join a club who has found their form again. I would say other clubs have signed multiple players from the same club, so this situation isn?t uncommon.

But you are right, they maybe a team with these added players, could fight for top spot next year.

Do players drive that far to the edge of town for a shot at finals footy? These new players must live nearby

    Yes, no surprise there.

The facilities suit Minmi?s philosophy of kick it long and kick the opposition.

Minmi and Norths will be standouts in this league next year. Probably 3,4,5 will be between Cooks, Southern and Bolwarra. Hearing South Maitland are also looking good under the new coach. Alot of Zone clubs in the Maitland area now with, Maitland back in ZL3 and Thornton into ZL1.
