Playing 3 across the back was showing the intent to attack but WSW did what Van Egmond has threatened to do all year: press way up the park. Our defence was pressured and had nowhere to go playng forward. Every time that Bridges and Heskey went near the ball they were hit by 3 Wanderers, apart from Caravella, we had no idea about going forward.
    A couple of points:
Neville played forward only once in the second half and about 3 times all year. He need some more time in the youth league.
Caravela was a good signing. Mitchell and Neville and Brown were a waste of money.
The long ball to Heskey is rubbish but it was all they had last night
Last night demonstrated what being fit can do. Has anyone ever seen Topor Stanley look that fit and trim before? No wonder he is playing well.
GVE is just out of his depth. His team selection was way off all season and it wasn't ntil he finally bowed to fan pressue and changed his team that the team began to play better.
I like Bridges. However he is not a number 10 but he is the best we have while Brown is wasting oxygen.
The Hersi/Goodwin battle was good to watch last night. Hersi won on points.
The Sqn are dull and boring compared to the RBB. Need to lift their game as much as the team.
    Did Brilliante play last night?
3 defenders in the first half suggested attack but it never happened. We really have very few ideas in the front third.
Last round must be played at the same time. Screw what Foxtel want. It should have been part of the negotiated tv deal.

The Jets will be better next year but will need a couple of good signings. I have no faith the GVE can make the right choices. He needs to go but the alternatives around are pretty weak.

Two defensive mistakes by the same player led to the first two goals and the third goal was due to giving a bloke way to much space at the top of the box.

As for WSW they play a very similar style football to what the McKinna coached Mariners used to play a few years ago - in other words the complete opposite to the GVE high tempo possession based fantasy.

Where WSW are great though is that they NEVER lose their shape in defence and their transition from defense to attack is very fast indeed.

It's a very simple game plan but it works - especially against teams atempting to play a highly technical style of football well beyond their capabilities.

I'd like us to get the results that WSW do but I don't think I would want to turn up and see my team play on the counter every week.

The fat dude that was turfed out by the cops was standing directly in Timmys face shouting at him because he wanted Tim to start that Knights New-Cas-tle chant which people kept telling him is a league chant. When he wouldnt let it go, I went down there to try to get him to leave Tim alone and come and talk to me about what his problem was so Tim could keep going with capo duties. When I tried to get the bloke to talk to me instead of abuse Tim some other retard gave me the shove and told me not to touch the bloke which basically made everything go to shit.
So they ended up getting thrown out when all I was trying to do was go in and have a chat to the bloke away from Tim to defuse the situation.

I have never seen any of the blokes in bay 2 before, so as usual the trouble is caused by ****ing bellend blowins who march up and cause trouble, act like ****wits and try to order blokes like Timmy who have been there since day dot as to how to do things. Then wonder why aggro starts and people get thrown out.

This is the biggest thing IMO. Same thing happened with the socceroos on Tuesday. We dwelled on the ball far too long in defence which allowed WS to mark our normal outlets meaning only Biraz was open. We need to be much more quicker in getting the ball to the midfield so we can start to attack, as opposed to letting the opposition get their shit together.

Apparently had about 3000 supporters at magic before they marched over to hunter stadium.

Also from what I heard Magic invited them to attend off their own bat. As a forward thinking local club they don't miss an opportunity to make a quid either. Unlike other clubs in the NBN League who are not so forward thinking and then moan that Magic get everything

So, Magic ca$hed in on them? Did they open the canteen MFKS? Anyone know?

I rode my bike home past Wanderers Oval/PCYC and had a chat with some of their supporters.
Was still quite a few of them over there an hour after the game; both parked and getting on buses.

    Ironic that it's that area.
Used to be one of the places multitudes of KB supporters used to park and board buses in the good ol' daze.
Never got 6-8k to a game though....

As if losing wasn't bad enough, having the worst coach isn't bad enough, the cunce running the bars and food should all be on the dole lines IMO.

Not to mention the cunce running the ground. Let all the RBB in first at the Hockey end and when it got time to let the HOME fans in walked in to find the Druggo Knight stand upper levels roller shutters down. Couldn't get up there. After about 15 mins of standing around with no cunce (SECCOS Ground staff etc) having any idea what was going on they finally opened them

For what was a pretty obvious and poor baiting attempt by myself did I land the mother load of Bites.

Forever Red I would go easy on the use of the term simple after biting on that bit of bait

    MFKS Foz tactics 101.

    Attack:
    Say whatever you like.
Write enough words/letters and people with either tune out and think tl:dr or read it all and assume as you write so much you must know what you're talking about - either way it reduces the chances of bing called for bullshit.

    Defence:

when called out for bullshitting use one of two options.

A: claim you were being sarcastic.
B: claim you were baiting someone.

Where's Kaan Kaant and Ed when you need them?

MFKS, any opinion on the grass used at hunter stadium? Or GVE's concrete driveway?
