Yes, and can someone confirm if Roundup is being used in the paint to mark the lines there?
It certainly looks like some die off with the grass when you look down on on the ground form up on Maitland Rd.
Field looks OK though. They've gotta get removable posts
In non game/training time, that western goalmouth with that kicking wall behind it gets used a bit it seems.
Needs more rest AND some soil, turf, a feed and drinks in summer.

Their field was quite good, except that goal mouth retro mentioned.
Expect pumping music all game from the boys, feels like a grand final ever game at Simba.. Even their referee was doing dances throughout the game, very funny to watch.
I'm expecting all games to be off this wkd with the weather, I know I am unavailable so I'm hoping.

    Toronto Awaba v Cooks Hill

Ressies- Done everything and really did deseve the win, took a 1-0 lead in to the break, and never really looked liked getting broken down, one unfortunate error from a fullback who was our best player despite seven stitches in his head from last week, gifted cooks hill a goal 1-1.

Then last kick of the game, got a wicked deflection lobbed over the young Toronto keeper and in to the goal for a loss.

    First Grade

Already had two centre mids missing due to work commitments, and within twenty minutes starting centre mid does his groin, and his replacement off the bench re does his knee, so were always going to be under the pump from there, Cooks Hill definitely deserved the win, but 4-1 may have been a little flattering.

What would expect, they are virtually the only ones using it, at least they have a field to use..

By looks of the radar it looks worse out there. If you're playing at the school then No chance! Sometimes they move to gresford which is a better ground but that I presume would be pretty wet

How's the grounds looking in Newcastle this weekend? I'm away up north so hoping it gets called off so I don't miss a game. Seems to have stopped raining but the grounds still wet?

Simba's ground is dry as. It has been very windy and sunny all morning. Scattered showers expected this Arvo but it looks to be blowing around us ATM. Meant to be sunny tomoz so I'm confident we will play.
